WHEN TO START CUSSING;
A 6 year old and a 4 year old are upstairs in their bedroom. The 6 year old asks, "You know what? I think it's about time we started cussing."The 4 year old nods his head in approval. The 6 year old continues,"When we go downstairs for breakfast, I'm gonna say something with hell and you say something with ass." The 4 year old agrees with enthusiasm. When the Mother walks into the kitchen and asks the 6 year old what he wants for breakfast, he replies, "Aw, hell, Mom, I guess I'll have some Cheerios. WHACK! He flies out of his chair,tumbles across the floor, gets up, and runs upstairs crying his eyes out, with his mother in hot pursuit,slapping his rear with every step.. His Mom locks him in his room and shouts, "You can stay in there until I let you out!" She then comes back downstairs, looks at the 4 year old and asks with a stern voice, "And what do YOU want for breakfast, young man?"I don't know", he blubbers, "but you can bet your fat ass it won't be cheerios!" A journey in a journey......I'm back.

I got back last night from a journey/adventure.! I got a call from my friend Doug informing me that he needed a car transported up to his car lot on Whidbey Island, WA. And wanted to know if I was the one for the job? Was I ever ready for a road trip!! Life was just not going as I was hoping and a road trip seems to have a centering effect on me most of the time! And this one was good for me! I left Mesa,AZ on that Saturday at about noon. 842 miles later I could go no farther and I stopped at a rest area to stretch out for a rest! The next day was better driving with not as much fog as the day before! Both in my head and on the road! When I got into the mountains the drive was real nice for January! No snow down low! Shasta was out in all its glory and I took pic's as I was driving by! I caught the 11pm ferry over to Whidbey and drove to Doug's beach house (in the pic's). Then we went to an auction in Eugene,Oregon on Tuesday, he bought a boat and we brought it back to the Island that night. By the next day the flights back to Phoenix were mostly full for the rest of the week! So , there are worse places to be left low and wet! Yes it rained almost all week! I am not complaining though! It was a great trip, a great time with my friend Doug and a great flight home! Blessings are worth counting! And Lord, please help the people of Haiti Thank you Lord!! Jon

Twenty Ten- The Sunrise's are getting better!

Happy New Year! Its amazing to me that we get what we need and that God cares for me and would not let me suffer too long in my feeling alone! No I have not met anyone yet of my deepest desires! But I did get an email from a friend of mine from years ago who was as influential as they get in my journey! Now we are corresponding and it is amazing and wonderful and the funk that was is gone! And the day is somewhat more desirable to embrace from its start! And the rewards of being up before the sun is pictured just above this writing!
Relationship is all that we keep when the lights are turned out and I would so much love to add to any and all of my present and future relationships and take the love and make the world a better place for the effort! 2010 could and should be the best year so far! Lets do it! Together!!!
